Anahita Golf Club – Mauritius
Anahita Golf Club Mauritius is the paradise for golf amateurs and professionals. The 6,828-yard, challenging 18-hole course is a par-72 championship course with a gorgeous panorama. It stretches along the sea on the east coast, on the largest turquoise lagoon in Mauritius, nestled between forests and mountains, and has wide fairways and five tee boxes. The six holes directly on the sea culminate in a final shot that is one of the most imposing in the world.
The course was designed in 2008 by South African golf legend Ernie Els. Lémuria Golf – Seychelles
This golfing dream come true – the only course in the Seychelles, by the way – stretches 5,556 yards and is an 18-hole championship course (par 70). The associated Constance Resort was awarded the “World Travel Award” as the best golf resort in the Indian Ocean. The place overlooks three gorgeous stands with breathtaking views.
Suitable for all levels of play, the course offers manicured fairways and challenging water hazards. In the curved greens, under the shady coconut trees through which the sunlight subtly shimmers, the first twelve holes of the course are located in the valley of Grand Anse Kerlan, while the next six holes stretch over mountainous, wooded terrain. From up here, the dreamlike view of the Indian Ocean is added. Thus, when teeing off from the signature hole – hole 15 – you have a breathtaking view of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Anse Georgette.
The Lémuria Golf Course was designed by internationally renowned architect Rodney Wright and French master Marc Antoine Farry in October 2000. Its terraced greens provide a wonderful challenge to golfers of all abilities. After a great game, the clubhouse, restaurant or bar is a great place to relax.
Leopard Creek Golf – South Africa
The exclusive 18-hole Leopard Creek Golf Course was built in 1996 and features adventurous golf strategies and scenic views. The entrance gate to the club is located at the bridge that crosses the Crocodile River to the Malelane Gate of the Kruger National Park. The dreamlike facility, in the middle of the wilderness, is protected from animals in a natural way through its innovative architectural and landscaping techniques. This innovation has been considered by the designer of the Parkland Gary Player, a South African professional golfer. He says, “The fact that you could hear a hippo snorting and see a lion near the fence while playing is unique. So is the shot you could take across a lake full of crocodiles and hippos.”
Because the water around the site, which flows past several holes, offers you a fascinating sight of the creatures that live there: hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, wild boars and antelopes.
In addition to sophisticated water hazards, the golf course houses a clubhouse, a restaurant and a bar for a break in between. In addition, since 2016, Leopard Creek has a par-3 course, which replicates famous “short holes” around the world.
Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Algarve – Portugal, Vilamoura
The 18-hole Victoria Golf Course was hailed as Portugal’s most ambitious project at the time of its creation and is one of the best and most challenging courses in Europe. On an area of 90 hectares there is an outstanding driving range and a 2,500 square meter “putting green”. Rightly so, the World Championship was held here in 2005.
A large part of the site is occupied by lakes, which serve as reservoirs for irrigation to maintain the typical vegetation of olive and almond trees. This was planned by golf legend Arnold Palmer, who designed the course in 2004. The designer designated the longest hole of the entire course – the 17th hole – as a signature hole.
Villa Padierna Golf Club – Marbella

Flamingos Golf has hosted prestigious golf tournaments such as the European Seniors in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and the Women’s Spanish Open in 2010.
Hole number 7, par 4, is his signature hole with stunning tee shot and impressive view of the resort and the sea.
Alferini
The ideal place to hold competitions and large tournaments, but also to spend a relaxing day. Well embedded in the landscape, special care was taken to preserve the natural environment.
Tramores
Tramores Golf Course is located in a beautiful landscape between two valleys and offers a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea. It is the third golf course of the resort, 3,468 meters long. Tramores is a fast, precise course that is nevertheless entertaining and requires skill.
Alcanada Golf Club – Mallorca
Golf architect Robert Trent Junior is the designer of this 18-hole golf course located in the northern part of the Mediterranean island, which opened in October 2003. Alcanada, designed for Hans Peter Porsche, is certainly one of the architect’s special projects.
The most spectacular thing about the club is that it is the only golf course in Mallorca that is located directly by the sea. Therefore, the layout was designed so that the view of the Bay of Alcudia, from almost all the holes of the course. In addition, the course is located in the middle of a nature reserve and offers a natural ensemble of 6,499 meters, seamlessly embedded in the Mallorcan landscape. Olive trees, pine trees and wild pheasants crown the surroundings of the course – a reason why it is one of the most popular and beautiful golf courses in Spain.
Tazegzout Bay Golf Club – Agadir
Tazegzout is a stunning golf course designed by golf course designer Kyle Phillips on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. It was opened in October 2014. Tazegzout covers an area of 76 hectares. It is a par 72 course with a length of 6,730 meters, enclosed by argan trees. The course meanders through natural argan vegetation and builds to a crescendo on the last three holes. These three spectacular holes, which run across two deep rocky gorges, are a challenge for any golfer. The latter can sit down after a game in the clubhouse, high up in the cliffs, and enjoy the magnificent view of Tazegzout Bay. Golf Las Américas – Tenerife
Built in 1998, the golf course is located in one of the best areas of the resort of Playa de Las Américas, near the most beautiful beaches of Tenerife. The 18-hole course was designed by John Jacobs Associates Ltd. and has the spectacular advantage of being set in a gentle, natural amphitheater overlooking Playa de Las Américas and the sea. The course, with its par 72 and its 6,051 meters of length, is protected from the wind on one side by the hills, while the other side offers a breathtaking view of the sea. It is a course with very low slopes, ravines, lakes and water obstacles. Around the square you can find species of palm trees and dragon trees typical of the place. The course is also not overly difficult and offers an excellent view and unbeatable climate.
