Erste Einbußen bei der Beraterqualität der Makler spürbar
During an exclusive lunch in the salon of the “Private Members Club – Am Hof 8” in Vienna yesterday, the best estate agents and developers in the country were awarded the quality seal of the real estate platform FINDMYHOME.AT. Out of over 400 providers, 20 companies were able to demonstrate outstanding performance, led by the winners EHL Immobilien as quality broker and GLORIT as top developer.

Qualität steht an erster Stelle, der Kunde entscheidet – das ist die Basis des FINDMYHOME.AT Qualitätssiegels, das von der renommierten heimischen Immobilienplattform FINDMYHOME.AT heuer zum zwölften Mal verliehen wurde. Im Laufe des Jahres 2023 haben mehr als 10.000 Immobiliensuchende die Leistungen der österreichischen Makler und Bauträger auf Basis von zehn Kriterien bewertet, ausschließlich diese Stimmen der Kunden wurden für die Verleihung des Awards herangezogen.
“Searchers,” say Benedikt Gabriel and Bernd Gabel-Hlawa, real estate experts and founders of FINDMYHOME.AT, “do not differentiate between a one-room apartment for rent or a luxury penthouse for sale. Nor do they think about the loss of dual brokerage and the no longer existing profitability of a brokerage service in the affordable rental segment. Only quality counts. And here the barometer has been pointing upwards from year to year.”
20 companies with top performance
The figures confirm what insiders have always predicted: Last year was a very bleak one in the real estate sector. “The quality of advice provided by estate agents,” say Gabriel and Gabel-Hlawa, “has decreased considerably from the perspective of property seekers with the introduction of the ordering principle in July 2023.” This makes it all the more important to uphold our own quality standards.
Out of over 400 real estate providers, twenty companies were able to demonstrate top performance and receive an award. Gabriel and Gabel-Hlawa attribute this to several components. “In addition to high-quality training opportunities, our versatile quality program and the associated free consulting services for our customers, the companies’ demand for versatile, qualified employees has also grown.”
Difference between renting and owning
In den diesjährigen Bewertungszeitraum fielen auch die KIM-Verordnung und steigende Zinsen, weshalb 72% der Immobilienanfragen auf Mietobjekte stattgefunden haben – eine klare Trendwende, so Gabriel und Gabel-Hlawa, „denn im Vorjahr waren mit 57% noch die Eigentumsobjekte führend – und entsprechend umfangreicher war auch die Beratungsqualität der Makler.“
The gap in the quality of advice between renting and owning can also be seen in the detailed analysis. Those excellent quality brokers or top developers who continue to focus exclusively on freehold properties have achieved unprecedented results, indicating the importance of each client. This year’s Top Developer winner, GLORIT, received only 100% ratings, i.e. an annual performance with 100% satisfied customers.
The best brokerage company of the year, EHL Immobilien, also distinguished itself with well over 2/3 of the highest rated customer feedback.
Conclusion: “In order to get the best brokerage service for the properties in their own interests and those of their future tenants, landlords need to rethink and show a willingness to invest in a professional,” say Gabriel and Gabel-Hlawa.
