Au contraire, chaque aliment, \u00e9pice ou boisson a un effet particulier &#8211; par exemple, il r\u00e9chauffe ou refroidit, il construit ou fait bouger, il renforce ou \u00e9limine. Le point central est ce que l&rsquo;on appelle le \u00ab\u00a0centre\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; notre syst\u00e8me digestif en tant que source importante de Qi, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie vitale. Elles aident \u00e0 d\u00e9nouer les stagnations &#8211; un th\u00e8me central de notre \u00e9poque marqu\u00e9e par le stress. La soi-disant stagnation du Qi du foie est particuli\u00e8rement r\u00e9pandue, souvent d\u00e9clench\u00e9e par un stress permanent et une forte pression de performance, combin\u00e9s \u00e0 nos habitudes alimentaires occidentales qui contiennent beaucoup de sucre, de farine blanche ou trop de produits laitiers. Les signes typiques sont le syndrome pr\u00e9menstruel, les douleurs menstruelles, les maux de t\u00eate, les grincements de dents ou les humeurs d\u00e9pressives. Ils soutiennent la formation du sang et des sucs corporels, renforcent la digestion, refroidissent l&rsquo;exc\u00e8s de chaleur et aident \u00e0 transformer les mucosit\u00e9s.
