For the connoisseur: brunch with a view<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Vienna knows how to celebrate a Sunday. The Danube Tower, for example, offers an unforgettable ambience high above the rooftops of the city – breakfast with a panoramic view of the whole of Vienna is an experience that is guaranteed to be remembered. <\/p>\n\n

A little less exciting, but at least as beautiful: a brunch in one of Vienna’s coffee houses, followed by a walk through the Prater. Chestnut avenues in full bloom, fresh spring air – wonderful! <\/p>\n\n

For nature lovers: hiking in the Vienna Woods<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

If you want to get out of the city, the Vienna Woods are the place to be. The “Above the Trees” themed hiking trail invites you to explore: The trail winds its way through the forest for around 27 kilometers and leads to eight lookout points, including the Hussar Temple and the Kaiser-Franz-Josephs-Warte on the Harzberg. If you don’t want to walk the entire route, you can choose individual stages. The trail is also suitable for families with children. <\/p>\n\n

A trip to the Rax is well worthwhile for sporty moms. The route from Preiner Gscheid to Heukuppe (takes around five hours for ten kilometers) rewards you with a breathtaking panoramic view – and Kaiserschmarrn in the mountain hut afterwards. It could hardly be better. <\/p>\n\n

Vienna’s twelve city hiking trails are also a wonderful option for those who prefer a more leisurely pace: most routes can be completed in three to four hours and show just how green and diverse Vienna actually is.<\/p>\n\n
